Join Stacey Abrams and other advocates, families, organizers, and leaders from across the country in Washington, D.C. on May 20th to show support for ending family detention; to children (including babies and toddlers) living in conditions that no child should ever endure.
The Details
Location: National Mall between 3rd street and 4th street (facing the capitol and the capitol reflecting pool)
Time Windows:
- Press Conference: 2:00-3:00pm
- Art Installation and Storytime: 3:00-6:00pm
- Teddy Bear Drop Off in DC: 3:15pm
What to Bring: Yourself! We will have books and food for attendees. For any transportation or lodging needs, we can connect with our travel coordinator
